5 scouts recently earned the Pope Pius XII Award, a Catholic Scouting Award.  This involved running a community service project, discussing possible vocations, and more.

On April 16th scouts participated in helping Noah Scheiman with his annual spaghetti dinner to fundraise for his upcoming Eagle Scout project in which he will construct a environmental rain garden at Community Church of Hoboken. The event took place at the Elk’s Lodge on Washington Street.

Please attend the blood drive sponsored by Saint Francis Boy Scout Troop 146 and Saint Francis Holy Name Society. This even will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on 308 Jefferson Street Hoboken NJ.

Congratulations to Life Scout Ethan Zhang who recently completed his Eagle Scout Project at St. Francis Church. He constructed the Father Michael Community Garden, which was celebrated in a recent dedication Mass.  Six other scouts attended.

The Troop participated in the annual salt marsh clean-up at Liberty State Park.

One of the older scouts set up a beach cleanup as part of his Eagle Scout Project.  We had over 60 volunteers, removed a city dumpster & over 2 truckloads of debris, collected over 40 industrial-sized bags of trash, removed graffiti, and logged important data on what we collected to report to the Ocean Conservancy, […]

7 BSA Scouts and 4 Cub Scouts recently picked up litter under an overpass and near a Hoboken soccer field.  See this link for more pictures.

11 scouts worked with the Hoboken Department of Environmental Services to pick up litter along the railroad trestle from Jersey City to Hoboken.

4 Scouts recently came together and made about 80 sandwiches for the Hoboken Homeless Shelter! During this time of quarantine, it is important that we remember the people who are not as fortunate as us.
