Camp Lewis Conservation Project

On April 29th scouts participated in a Camp Lewis conservation project of planting over 250 trees and clearing of debris from pathways and campsites. During the day scouts also learned about the County College of Morris Horticulture Program and the NJ Fish and Wildlife Conservation Police.

Horsemanship Merit Badge

Scouts participated in the first session of their horsemanship merit badge on Sunday, April 23 at Seaton Hackney stables in Morristown, NJ. Some of the scouts who participated need the horsemanship merit badge for their upcoming trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico this summer.

Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

On April 16th scouts participated in helping Noah Scheiman with his annual spaghetti dinner to fundraise for his upcoming Eagle Scout project in which he will construct a environmental rain garden at Community Church of Hoboken. The event took place at the Elk’s Lodge on Washington Street.
